Give what you need

I don’t know about you, but I’m a thinker. I think a lot and sometimes too much lol! And I was thinking about people who are constantly asking for certain things. I often hear people say “oh no one calls me” or “I wish I had more friends” or “if only people would invite me over” etc the list can go on and on but I have to ask a question. I wonder if they do this themselves. I would love to ask them “ do you call others?” “do you go out and help others?” Do you go out of your way to be a friend to someone else?” It’s so easy for us to ask and so hard for us to give. Why? Because we are selfish by our sinful nature. This is why God teaches us to constantly give. I think before we begin to look to others to give us something, maybe we should begin by asking how can I give and be there for them first. Once we begin to do that, we will begin to see the fruits of our giving. The word of God says that we reap what we sow. So if there is a need that you are having, whether it be love, attention, friendship or maybe even just a hug. How about you begin to give what you need First. Begin to give that hug or that love and friendship someone else may need.
