What is Manna from Heaven.

An unexpected benefit or assistance, especially when it comes at the time when it is needed most. The phrase is a reference to the Biblical story of the food that God miraculously provided to the Israelites as they wandered in the wilderness.

What does that look like for us now a days? What can we see as an unexpected benefit or assistance that God does for us? Do we even notice it? Think about it for a minute. There was a time where the Israelites continued complaining even though God still continued to provide their every need. God does the same for us on a daily basis! We often forget the small things in life that God does for us.

Being in the presence of God and experiencing His goodness on a daily basis is Manna from Heaven. Those moments and glimpses of hope is Manna from heaven. Those moments where we see our child smiling back at us is Manna from Heaven. Those embraces from a friend is Manna from heaven. An unexpected gift from a loved one is Manna from Heaven. I can go on and on about the many things we take for granted or the unnoticed unexpected things that God does for us every single day.
