The struggle

To often we don’t want the struggle. We reject it. We say no I don’t want to go through this! But your struggle will one day be part of your story. And in that story, it will reveal how you were able to overcome it and how God was able to give you the strength to endure. I think back to all of my struggles, all the things I had to endure in this life. The disappointments, the disillusionment of others, the financial struggles, and the list can go on. and now thinking back; I thank God that He gave me the strength to endure, to go through it and to overcome. Yes, I did have days that I just wanted to give up but I didn’t linger on those moments. I refused to stay knocked down. Now, I can help others overcome. I can teach them how I was able to endure. Our struggles will one day be part of our story. Our story of overcoming, our story of how we were able to get out of a certain situation. We can then turn to someone and say “I’ve been there, let me help you” You see our struggles many times, it’s not for us but for others. In order for us to help others, we must first past certain tests. A testimony isn’t one if we haven’t passed the test right? So if you are in the middle of some struggles. Trust God. He is able. Endure through it. God will make a way in due time. But for now, rejoice in your struggle and know that this too shall pass.
