Time with God

I know life gets tough.

We have so many things on our “to-do lists” and things that have to get done.

However, Don’t forget that your spiritual-inner self needs attention too.
Take time to pour into yourself.

Spending time with the holy spirit isn’t something or another thing we have to add to our to-do list.

It’s THE most important thing that should be at the top of any list we may have.
It is not an unproductive time but it’s the best time of our lives.

We need that manna from heaven. It is vital that we spend time with God so that we can thrive in this life. God created us for relationship. When you are in a relationship with someone, in order for you to get to know that person, you have to spend time with them.

Jesus spent time with the Father

We see in Mark 1:35-37 it says:
35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. 36 Simon and his companions went to look for him, 37 and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

Jesus often would go away to spend that alone time with God and pray. This is so vital for our lives.

Many times we don’t do things because we don’t know how to. It’ important to make it a habit. It is said that if you do something for 21 days, you create a new habit. What better habit than to spend time with God. You will gain a lot more in those moments than a day of productivity in the office.

In those moments He will speak peace over your life and give you joy for the day ahead and give your strategies for your to-do lists! Spend time with the one who Has created you and loves you more than anyone else can ever love you.
