We must desire what the King desires

As I was listening to the Arise Women’s prayer call this morning, the Lord reminded me of a word He gave me a few days ago. 

Esther chapter 2 verse 15

“Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her.” Esther 2:15 NKJV

Esther requested nothing but what the eunuch advised. You see the eunuch would know what the king liked and desired. Esther desired more of what the KING wanted than what SHE wanted. 

Esther is a great example of how we should enter into the presence of God. How we should enter into His courts. 

Her heart was pure and she was intentional with wanting to know what was it that the king loved. 

We have to be the same. We have to search out the scriptures to know what it is that our king loves and what He doesn’t love. 

We must come into the Kings palace with humbleness and with a desire of what the KING WANTS  so that we can obtain favor with HIM.
